Varsity Golf · Falcons name Ted Dunn – Head Varsity Golf Coach

Life Verse
Proverbs 3: 5&6: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Ted began playing golf at age three and started competing at age six. While growing up in Georgia and Pennsylvania, he spent countless hours on the golf course and developed a love for the game. Several regional and state victories culminated with an invitation to the 1987 World Championship in Southern California. The field included notable players including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Ernie Els.

Today, Ted is on the other side of junior golf running the U.S. Kids Golf Columbia tour with the rest of the Dunn family (wife Ellen, and children Emily and Teddy). His efforts make it possible for junior players in the Midlands to compete and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf events worldwide.  To date, Ted has caddied in four World Championships and will be on the bag for a fifth in July 2019.

Ted has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from The University of South Carolina and is the General Manager for Mount Valley Foundation Services. His work has taken the family to five different states.  The Dunns are grateful to be back home in Columbia and a part of the Ben Lippen family.
