Multiple Teams · Asher Quave-Robinson Named Falcon Soccer Program Director

Asher Quave-Robinson has recently been named Ben Lippen’s new Soccer Program Director.  Asher, a Columbia, SC native, attended Pfeiffer University and played all four years for the Falcons while earning his bachelor’s in education and minor in coaching.

Asher played at the PDL and NPSL levels prior to reaching the professional level. Asher experienced the USL, CSL  and Germany’s Regionaliga. After playing, he started his coaching career at Millsaps College for both the men’s and women’s soccer programs. Asher helped the Majors reach their first-ever national tournament and SAAC conference title. Asher then extended his coaching career with York Region Shooters U23 side in Ontario, Canada and helped them to the CSL Div 2 Title in what was an undefeated season.

Asher then worked as a college recruiting coach for decorated Candian academy Supernova FC in their 2016 OSL championship campaign. He then became the North American scout and Director for Gateway FC, a project that blended his connections in the soccer world with his passion for helping players reach the college and professional levels. He has been responsible for helping hundreds of players get placed at the college level, has worked with 16 collegiate All-Americans, paved the way for numerous professional contracts for players including one MLS super draft pick.

Asher is currently the head coach of Columbia’s Semi-professional team Soda City FC and men’s assistant and recruiting coordinator at Columbia International University where this past 2018 fall assisted in the Ram’s reaching their first national tournament berth.  Asher received his Sports Ministry training through the Chicago Eagles, Charlotte Eagles of the USL, Kings Warriors of the PDL,  and  Upward Starz of the NPSL. Asher is excited about passing his experiences on to the student-athletes at Ben Lippen.
