Falcons News · Coach Brian Larsen named Director of Baseball Operations

Coach Brian Larsen has been named the Director of Baseball Operations and Varsity Head Baseball Coach. With over twenty years of high school baseball coaching experience, Brian Larsen brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and passion for the game. His coaching resume includes seasons at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida; Dr. Michael Krop High School in North Miami, Florida; and Northside Christian Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At these schools and nationally ranked travel ball programs, Larsen coached many current and former Major Leaguers including Eric Hosmer and Deven Marrero. He has also coached teams to multiple district and state championships. Larsen has been awarded multiple Coach of the Year awards at the school and district levels as well as peer-selected all-star game coaching honors.

Coach Larsen strives to not only improve his players on the field but also help them grow in character, work ethic and in their walk with the Lord. He whole-heartedly believes in Ben Lippen’s athletic department motto: To God be the Glory.

Coach Larsen is beginning his 4th year at Ben Lippen. Over the past three years, he has taught middle school PE, high school PE, and high school health. This year Coach Larsen will also serve as Assistant Athletic Director.

He has been married for 16 years to his wife Kelli, who serves as the Assistant Principal in the Lower School. Brian has two children: Jaelyn, age 9 and Devin, age 6.
